BrandJump Hires New Merchandising and Ops Director

Shelly Jones-Jackson joins the e-commerce sales and marketing company's executive team.

BrandJump today announced that Shelly Jones-Jackson is joining the e-commerce sales and marketing company as their Director of Merchandising and Operations. The position reports to CEO, Josh Walter. 

As Director of Merchandising and Operations, Jones-Jackson will be responsible for managing the 20-plus merchandising and operations team charged with site merchandising, content optimization, pricing management and brand operations. The role will be focused on process development and technological enhancements with the goals of continuously improving speed, accuracy and quality of content, resulting in an elevated brand presence online for each client.

In her previous role, Jones-Jackson was the Senior Director of Merchandising Operations at The RealReal, an authenticated luxury consignment fashion platform. In that position, she oversaw a team of 500 people across site operations including digital assets, copywriting, pricing and content. She was previously an assistant buyer for Barney’s New York and has additional fashion retail merchandising and sales management experience.

The creation of this new position follows the recent appointment of Melanie Nelson as Director of Channel Management. In this role, Nelson leads the sales side of the business for BrandJump, and is responsible for driving top line business management and building the channel management team. Together, these new additions add strength to the BrandJump executive team, comprehensively covering all aspects of the business.
