Shoppe Object will cover two venues in August.

The Summer 2024 edition of Shoppe Object, New York City's home and gift trade show, makes its  eturn to Pier 36 and Skylight at Essex Crossing, August 4-6, 2024. Shoppe Object expanded its footprint in New York City earlier this year with the addition of a new space at Essex Crossing and will build on the success of last February’s edition, which brought a record turnout –– 20 percent more exhibitors attending than the previous year and 700 total curated brands. This August, Shoppe Object is expecting even greater attendance as it nears its anticipated sold-out status,  with more of the carefully selected brands that the show is known for.

Celebrated for its bold architecture and close proximity to Shoppe Object’s longstanding venue at Pier 36, Skylight at Essex Crossing will once again provide a complimentary showcase for buyers to explore a vibrant and engaging atmosphere strategically created to highlight the very best brands and products in the categories of home, gift, accessories, lifestyle, and more. This reintroduction is especially noteworthy, allowing for an ever-expanding roster of both new and returning brands, larger booths, and a continued focus on the spirit of discovery that sets the show apart.

"The addition of Skylight at Essex Crossing has allowed us to feature a greater pool of curated brands, delivering more discovery and creative innovation within our multiple vibrant spaces,” said Jesse James, Founder and Show Director of Shoppe Object. "We’re excited to reunite with  our growing community of designers, buyers, and brands in  this beautifully sunlit space, as well as at our waterside home at Pier 36, this summer."

Shoppe Object continues to attract the innovative, the beautiful, and the well-made from both international and domestic brands and designers. Featuring returns from the Spring 2024 show like: Assouline, Chilewich, Hangai Mountain Textiles, Heller, Printworks, Saved New York, Serax, Sir/Madam and many others. In addition, there will be many new brands joining the show this August from all around the world. Director of Sales, Renata Bokalo says, "We know how much our discerning buyers love finding new gems so we made certain to allocate space for exhibitors that are brand new to market and/or exclusive to Shoppe Object! In addition to Shoppe Object's Global Artisan Program, we are really excited to debut several international artisan pavilions from all corners of the world including South Africa, Chile, and Indonesia. An important strategic objective in our collective curation process was supporting indigenous communities and women-led organizations." New and international brands include: Match, Greentree Home and Candle, Simon & Schuster, Epice Paris, Matt & Nat, Meri Meri, Soap + Paper Factory, and Lubin Paris.

The addition of Skylight at Essex Crossing to the already vibrant Shoppe Object at Pier 36 has broadened the scope and appeal of the show. This expansion not only enhances the atmosphere with its lively hand-selected playlists, diversified dining experiences, and dynamic late-night gatherings but is also symbolizes the growth of the show. The setup has been highly acclaimed by attendees, with Lauren Niamola of Dear Golden commenting, “I loved the two locations and the quick shuttles between. There was great food and music, and I loved meeting the makers and getting to know my vendors face-to-face. It felt like a fun party! It’s the best show with the best vendors. I honestly cannot think of anything to improve!”

“Curation, layout, location, caliber of brands –– all great!” added designer Lisa Tumbarello of Potomac River Interiors, “All the vendors I spoke with were knowledgeable and passionate... I found many things I was looking for, and many more that I wasn't –– which is a good thing! I had a great first experience and I will be back!”

As Shoppe Object continues to grow, the dual-venue not only accommodates more exhibitors and attendees but also represents a strategic evolution in how the show connects the vibrant local scene with global artisanal talents. This summer, attendees can traverse seamlessly between the historic waterfront charm of Pier 36 and the architectural modernity of Skylight at Essex Crossing, enjoying an integrated experience enriched by the convenience of shuttle services. This setup ensures that every participant, whether they're returning favorites or first-time attendees, experiences the full breadth of creativity and innovation that Shoppe Object uniquely delivers.
