Started in 1987, Arteriors Home designs and produces lighting, home furnishings and accessories for residential and commercial spaces. The company is well-known for its high-glamour and contemporary styles, especially its decorative lighting. Many of its furnishings and accessories have global influences, which harkens back to the company's origins, and most of its products are artisan-crafted and handmade.
Arteriors Home started as an accessories importing company in 1987. Creative Director Mark Moussa founded Arteriors Imports in November of that year, and by April 1988, he had a showroom at High Point Market. At that time, the company mainly imported accessories, but that was just the beginning. Moussa envisioned a company that would produce later lighting, furnishings, wall decor and decorative accessories that had a traditional look and used classic metals. Due to popular demand, Arteriors Home began producing table lamps in 1995 and later started designing chandeliers and other lighting fixtures in 2005.
In 2007, Arteriors Home launched a contract division, which would handle all of its work with commercial and hospitality projects. Three years later, the company launched its first designer collection and has since created a number of licensed collections with notable designers such as Jay Jeffers, Windsor Smith and Celerie Kemble.
Today Arteriors Home has more than 1,200 active designs and a presence at the major U.S. markets: High Point Market, AmericasMart Atlanta, Dallas Market Center and Las Vegas Market.
