Atlanta Market announced today the first East Coast installment of International Market Center’s (IMC) proprietary “Ahead of the Curve” trend program which will be presented through a webinar on January 5 in advance of winter 2021 market, running January 12-19, 2021, at AmericasMart Atlanta. During the session, a panel of design experts will discuss the latest design trends in home furnishings.

“Ahead of the Curve has been a key program at Las Vegas Market for years and IMC is delighted to introduce an East Coast edition to our Atlanta audience this winter,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC’s chief customer and marketing officer. “In partnership with Luxe Interiors + Design, this session will provide an in-depth look at what’s trending in home décor and design with insights from four of the leading minds in design.”

The “Ahead of the Curve” webinar will take place at 11 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Sarah Shelton, market editor for Luxe Interiors + Design, will moderate a panel discussion with interior designers who will explore emerging design trends and new product inspirations. Cheryl Luckett is the owner of Dwell by Cheryl in Charlotte, North Carolina. Known for her affordable approach, Luckett brings traditional design to the masses. Operating under the core belief that everyone deserves to dwell in a space they absolutely love and can’t wait to come home to, Dwell by Cheryl Interiors seeks to bring interior design services within reach.

Raymond Jimenez and Shannon Scott are co-founders of Miami-based interior design and architecture studio, RS3 Designs. Working in an ever-evolving, artistically inspired industry, Jimenez and Scott like to feed off a classic and timeless aesthetic while still observing and recognizing new up and coming trends.

Prior to the webinar, the designers will scout new and known suppliers through the enhanced exhibitor directory on the new AtlantaMarket.com. Using Atlanta Market exhibitor profiles and links through to exhibitor websites, the designers will identify their favorite trends and products. During the presentation, they will discuss their top picks, describe the items and explain the reasoning behind their selections. They also will discuss the trends that are emerging and how each selection would be incorporated into a room.

Additionally, buyers can preview the designers’ picks in the Winter 2021 edition of the Atlanta Market Magazine.
