Atlanta Market Names Summer 2020 Market Snapshot People's Choice Winners

Ginger Fox, Lowcountry Originals and Pink Picasso take top honors.

From 50 finalists, Atlanta Market has named three “People’s Choice” winners in its Summer 2020 Market Snapshot: the Bed Swing with Back by Lowcountry Originals, the Carnovsky Ocean Jigsaw Puzzle by Ginger Fox and the Lucy Longhorn Paint-by-Numbers Kit by Pink Picasso. Winning products, which were selected by popular vote in the lead up to the Summer 2020 Market, are on display in AmericasMart Atlanta showrooms through August 18, 2020.

“Our Summer 2020 People’s Choice Winners accurately reflect our current situation – more time spent at home – with activities for entertainment and furnishings for comfort being most popular,” notes Dorothy Belshaw, International Market Centers chief marketing and digital officer. “This real-time view of what inspires buyers is an important element of the tools that IMC offers to buyers before and during their at-market sourcing.”

Lowcountry Originals’ Bed Swing with Back is a swinging bed with a slanted back on a two-point hanging system designed for comfort and movement. The deep seat incline allows for lounging with a gentle swaying motion. (B1 15-E17)

With the Carnovsky Ocean Jigsaw Puzzle from Ginger Fox puzzlers explore the interaction between color and light as three different images sit on top of each other, resulting in a picture that is unexpected and mesmerizing. The colors mix and the lines and shapes entwine. With the included red, green and blue viewing glasses, users can isolate each layer of the image, turning one puzzle into three stunning pictures. Pink Picasso Pink Picasso’s Lucy Longhorn is an original image turned into a paint-by-numbers kit.  Each kit includes a template printed canvas, a four-brush set, pots of acrylic paint and a map for painters to find a number they missed.  Each project takes about 12 hours to complete.  (Tango B2 10-1000B).
