With a goal to harness technology to distinguish its brand and help retailers, North American furniture distributor Coaster Fine Furniture has partnered with ALL3D, a one-stop-shop for photorealistic 3D imagery, according to a news release.
Marlene Vidal, Director of Marketing at Coaster, said ALL3D’s cloud-based rendering and scalable tech services are enabling the company to create richer, more immersive experiences for ecommerce via 3D models. The partnership also allows them to produce higher-quality marketing materials (including lifestyle shots), more upscale catalog presentations and social media content. The company has produced 3D models of over 200 SKUs from its newly released 2025 catalog.
“ALL3D is working closely with us to produce photorealistic material for our brand with quick turnaround times,” Vidal said. “They provide an extensive library of background scenes, props and lighting that allows for nearly endless customizability of lifestyle imagery.
“Even with the large number of options available to us, the platform is far from overwhelming, as the team at ALL3D has successfully streamlined the process for optimal use,” he continued. “The attention to detail is also immaculate — we’ve found that the AI-generated lifestyle images we are able to generate are practically indistinguishable from far more expensive studio photography we would typically shoot on set.”
Along with increasing speed to market and elevating the look of Coaster’s products, using the platform helps Coaster drive efficiencies and reduce costs.
“When you think about how much time and resources go into the various stages of setting up our products for photography — from hiring photographers to renting a space, getting the lighting and positioning right, and shipping the product to the space itself — All3D has dramatically changed the game for us,” Vidal said.
Along with improving lifestyle shots, the ALL3D collaboration also allows Coaster to share 3D models featuring 360 spins to elevate their ecommerce businesses. Not only do the addition of 3D models allow shoppers to interact with products in a more dynamic and interactive way, but the program also allows customers to superimpose a true-to-life 3D model on an image of their own rooms, which according to Vidal, improves their confidence in potential purchases.
“We are proud to be partnered with such an innovative and pioneering company,” said ALL3D Chief Growth Officer Mark Crowther. “In a sluggish environment for many in the furniture industry, Coaster is an early adopter of state-of-the-art practices and technology and is demonstrating how rapidly technology is changing and improving and the impact that it can have on a company’s growth. Coaster’s strength lies in its ability to stay current.”
