Dallas Market Center is one of North America's go-to trade centers for business-to-business commerce. Located north of downtown Dallas, the market center covers five million miles of campus spaces, connecting lighting, home furnishings, home decor, gift and fashion manufacturers with retailers, interior designers and other industry professionals.

The market center campus is divided between three major areas: the World Trade Center, the Trade Mart and the Interior Home + Design Center (IHDC).

Dallas Total Home & Gift Market

Twice a year in January and June, retailers and interior designers descend on the city for the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market. Primarily held in the World Trade Center and the first two floors of the Trade Mart at Dallas Market Center, the market allows the top manufacturers to showcase their newest product introductions and network with retailers and interior designers.

Additionally, Dallas Market Center also hosts events and seminars during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market. Seminars, panel discussions and keynote addresses focus on the latest industry trends, introductions and challenges that market goers need to be watching.

Held concurrently with the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, Lightovation is one of the top lighting shows in North America. The trade market, which mainly covers the third and fourth floors of the Trade Mart along with a few other showrooms scattered around Dallas Market Center, brings lighting retailers, designers and architects together to see the latest product introductions and make connections with emerging businesses.

Lightovation also hosts its own seminars and events. The SMART Center, which is powered by Dallas Market Center and the American Lighting Assn., is the newest meeting space for seminars, events and relaxation during market.

Interior Home + Design Center (IHDC)

Unlike the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and Lightovation, the Interior Home + Design Center (IHDC) is open all year round as a design center for interior designers. Located just off the World Trade Center, IHDC welcomes residential interior designers and trade professionals from the mid-Atlanta and Latin America areas and allows them to shop for lighting, furniture, wall art and decorative accessories whenever they wish.

The IHDC is also home to The Gallery at IHDC, an open showroom that provides smaller spaces to a wide range of manufacturers. This space allows newer companies to gain space in a national trade market without overburdening themselves.
