Home Trends & Design (HTD) announces the grand opening for their showroom located at 118 N. Wrenn Street, and will introduce over 120 new case goods and upholstery during Fall 2022 High Point Market. HTD also plans to announce changes to their upholstery.

“HTD is rolling back prices for all our upholstery to pre-pandemic levels. Inflation keeps rising and we want to help our customers help their customers,” said CEO Hank Cravey.

High Point Market attendees will be the first to experience the price changes as well as see first-hand the newest sofa and armchair and dining chair designs from HTD. Expanding upon the company’s wide variety of styles, the newest additions will focus more on mid-century and modern styles — while still maintaining the company’s commitment to creating luxury, eco-friendly furniture.

The new introductions incorporate cleaner, more traditional lines and silhouettes, with a hand-crafted twist.

“HTD sources both our collection pieces and our new introduction pieces from traditional artisan vendors from all over Asia,” said Cravey. “Many of our new solid wood items come from our own factories in India.”

The majority of HTD’s furniture uses solid acacia, mango and reclaimed teak woods. All of it sourced from plantation grown trees or recycled from old buildings and doorways.

With several new hand carved, solid wood and metal pedestal bases, HTD is also greatly expanding its Palm Springs collection of mix and match marble top round dining table offerings.
