Putting a fresh spin on traditional design, Hooker Furniture’s new Reverie Collection set to launch at the October High Point Market blends old world and modern design elements to create the fun, casual look that has become so popular in American homes. The 35-piece whole home collection is defined by clean lines, a distinctive platinum gray finish and an array of fabric and leather seating choices.

The collection, which includes bedroom, dining room, occasional, home office, home entertainment and accent pieces, is crafted of quartered white oak, and its innovative finish is slightly distressed with moderate wire brushing.

“We have merged two lanes of the design highway to create this updated traditional look with the Reverie Collection,” said Michelle Miller, Merchandising Manager for Hooker Furniture. “The clean lines accentuate the glazed platinum gray finish, which is subtly darker than most gray finishes and adds to the traditional feel.”

The collection is highlighted by a bedroom group that includes an upholstered bed, 9-drawer dresser, 5-drawer chest, night stand and bachelor’s chest. The headboard features button tufting and a crown motif, and the bed rails are fully upholstered.

Dining pieces are headlined by 86-inch rectangular and 54-inch round dining tables, and the collection also includes a 76-inch tall display cabinet and a 69-inch buffet.

Other key pieces include a 60-inch writing desk, 80-inch media console and an etagere that stands 80 inches tall. The etagere’s storage doors, and all other case pieces in the collection, utilize oversize ring pulls for hardware.
