Inspired by Madcap Cottage Co-Founders John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon’s travels, vintage finds and passion for prints and patterns, the Madcap Cottage for PORT 68 Collection looks to history while moving the needle ever forward. The debut collection delivers 60+ SKUs of lighting, decor and accent upholstery that pair a spirit of sophistication with a nod to timeless fun and a retail storyline. Design standouts include colorful porcelain embellished with signature patterns, a whimsically detailed “pagoda” chandelier, and a mix-and-match patterned designer shade program. Other branded elements include tassels that embellish accent furnishings such as a hand-applied gold-leafed metal upholstered bench and serving bar.
“We are thrilled to add the adventurous style of Madcap Cottage for Port 68 to our family of licenses," says PORT 68 President Michael Yip. "The gents behind Madcap Cottage, John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon, capture a decorator look that is fun, fresh and timeless. The designer patterns are chic, classic and on trend for today’s marketplace. It will be exciting to see the partnership grow for years to come.”
“It is a dream to work with the PORT 68 team and bring our vision for lighting and design accessories to life,
says Loecke. "There is nothing beige and boring in this collection — these are pieces that are an invitation to embrace a life well lived. Inspired by everything from English gardens and far-flung country estates to exotic temples plucked from the heart of Asia and Hollywood-style glamour, the Madcap Cottage for PORT 68 collection captures those unique moments that have truly made our hearts skip a beat. We give you the tools — bring the adventure home and make your home truly sing.”
