Sagebrook Home Announces New Director of Marketing, New SC Distribution Center

Michael Rull is Sagebrook's new Marketing Director. The company has also opened a new distribution center in South Carolina

Michael Rull joined Sagebrook Home as the new Director of Marketing in December 2021. Michael will be leading & paving the way in new marketing strategy & creative initiatives for the Sagebrook Home brand. Michael comes to Sagebrook Home with over 15 years of marketing, tradeshow operations and visual creative experience in the industries of interior design & home furnishings manufacturing. His marketing & brand management leadership experience includes top industry brands, recently Made Goods, Feizy Rugs and Classic Home. Additionally, Michael has spearheaded showroom exhibitions efforts for tradeshows/Markets since the beginning of his career.

Michael Rull is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma and is currently part of the University of California, Los Angeles Extension Program in Architecture & Interior Design.

East Coast Distribution Center

The company also opened a new 500,000 sq.-ft. distribution center in Summerville, SC in December 2021. The new South Carolina-based distribution center is in addition to their current Los Angeles distribution center. Just 15 minutes from the Port of Charleston, this new center is brand-new construction and filled with the latest in warehouse technology.

Having distribution from both the West and East coasts, will help better serve Sagebrook Home customers logistically around the country. It will significantly reduce transit time and is an amazing opportunity to combat the rising cost of freight.

“As Sagebrook Home continues to grow, the decision to distribute from both the East and West coast seemed a natural evolution. With the rising cost of shipping, there was no better time to add bicoastal distribution. This new DC gives us the opportunity to implement the latest in technology and keep Sagebrook Home a force in the HOME category,” Kachan said.

All Sagebrook Home distribution centers will become paperless in early 2022. Sagebrook Home plans to operate the  South Carolina distribution center with 200+ employees making them a premier employer in South Carolina.
