Jim Telleysh, Sr. Vice President of Spectra Home, on behalf of Spectra Home and its parent company, Shayne International, has made donations of surgical-quality face masks to the dedicated frontline workers at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro and High Point Regional Hospital.

Seeing such substantial need throughout the region, Spectra Home is also donating masks to the local High Point police department, EMS, and to area grocery stores for their cashiers and other employees, as well as to nurses and care workers at the regional Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Telleysh has also provided masks to all his employees and their families, and to the company’s regional sales associates in an effort to help prevent further spread of COVID-19.

In all, 4,000 masks have been distributed thus far and Telleysh notes that he and his Spectra Home colleagues will continue to help protect their community’s workers and families with additional distributions as available.

“We want to help tamp down this virus as quickly as possible,” says Telleysh. “A big part of that is working together to stay healthy. If we can provide masks that help others stay well, then that’s also helping all of us. Protecting yourself helps protect those around you, and that’s how we move past this health and economic devastation faster.”
