Uttermost, a major manufacturer and wholesaler of home furnishings, has completed major expansions to its capacity in 2018.
“We’ll continue to expand capacity as needed to support our growth in both Uttermost and REVELATION,” said President Mac Cooper.
In Rocky Mount, VA the company has increased capacity by another 30 percent with the addition of 76,000 square feet of high ceiling space, amounting to a total of 659,000 square feet in Virginia.
In Riverside, CA the company has purchased a 233,000 square-foot facility, which increases Uttermost's West Coast capacity by 66 percent.
“We serve as the warehouse for so many of our customers, so we must hold big inventories on both coasts," Cooper said. "Currently, we have about $35 million sitting in inventory, ready to meet our customers’ needs.”
