The ALA virtual symposium will take place Nov. 1-4.

The American Lighting Association (ALA) invites everyone in the lighting industry to a free Virtual Symposium, Nov. 1-4, sponsored by ALA-member companies. The event features renowned speakers on some of the most important issues facing the lighting industry today.

Symposium topics include digital marketing to outpace competition, positive business strategies, lighting designer insights, new lighting technology, management strategies to boost tech productivity, and changes in residential architecture. A full list of session topics and speakers is available at ALAConference.com.

Kicking off the Symposium at 1 p.m. (CDT), Monday, Nov. 1, is Corey Perlman, owner of Impact Social Inc., who will present Digital Marketing Masterclass and talk about how to discover digital footprint holes that may be sabotaging sales and pushing prospects to the competition. Immediately following that session will be a panel of high-powered industry executives who will discuss successes and lessons learned from the pandemic and its effect on business, as well as plans for what comes next.

Also on Monday is an ALA Women in Lighting special presentation featuring professional speaker, comedian, and author Christina Irene who talks about how to eliminate internal barriers. This event includes networking breakout sessions and valuable prizes donated by ALA-member manufacturers.

Days two through four of the Symposium offer many additional compelling and timely sessions. Everyone is invited to go online to ALAConference.com to see the full lineup and the list of generous sponsor companies. While the Symposium is free of charge, it is still necessary to register to receive the Zoom links as well as access to the post-session recordings to view any missed presentations.
