Bobby Berk Interiors + Design today announced that Brady Tolbert has joined as the brand’s new Creative Director effective Monday, Jan. 7. Tolbert joins the growing downtown Los Angeles-based firm following five years with Emily Henderson Design.

In his new role, Tolbert will help develop, launch, grow and manage the vision and design direction for the Bobby Berk brand. In addition to designing and producing new products, Tolbert will oversee all of the firm’s creative work, work closely with the marketing and social media teams and oversee the brand’s editorial platforms. Tolbert will work closely with Berk in this new position and will play a vital role in the evolution and growth of the Bobby Berk brand.

As part of his new position, Tolbert will oversee the creation and implementation of a new editorial platform for Bobby Berk, to launch later in 2019. This new platform will form part of the company’s substantial agenda for 2019, which includes a complete revamp of the brand’s website and social platforms as well as branching out into new product areas and categories. Tolbert will also oversee the growth of BB+ID across all digital avenues, develop creative editorial and social campaigns, manage the company’s affiliate and sponsored programs and consult on residential and commercial design projects.

Tolbert joins the Bobby Berk team following his role as Creative Director for Emily Henderson Design where he oversaw the company’s substantial growth since joining in 2014. Prior to his work with Emily Henderson, Tolbert worked for Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors. A native of Utah, Tolbert began his career interning under world-renowned architect Frank Gehry and his team on a project in Washington, D.C.

“Bobby Berk Interiors + Design is a brand that I am very excited about," says Tolbert. “Bobby is creating a design brand with far-reaching impact across so many outlets in our industry. We are hitting the ground running and I can’t wait to join the talented team and contribute to the company’s next phase of growth.”

Best known as the design guru on Netflix’s "Queer Eye," Berk has worked in the design industry for over 15 years and has extensive experience in manufacturing, interior design, licensing and retail. Since starting his eponymous firm in 2006, Berk has become one of the country’s leading interior designers and has appeared as a design expert on numerous television networks including HGTV, Bravo, NBC and CBS, among others. Following the explosive success of "Queer Eye," Berk has continued to grow and elevate his brand, taking on new and ambitious projects while continuing to expand his design empire.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brady to the Bobby Berk team,” says Berk, founder of Bobby Berk Interiors + Design. “He brings an enormous amount of creativity, vision and experience to the role and I am confident he will be instrumental in taking our brand to the next level.”
