Castelle Recognizes Independent Sales Team Members with Annual Awards

The President’s Award and others recognizing excellence in sales, territory development and new customer growth were given out during a pre-market meeting at Casual Market Chicago.

During the 2018 Casual Market Chicago, Castelle presented its Independent Representative Awards to individual members within the company’s independent territory management team.

The President’s Award and other awards recognizing excellence in sales, territory development and new customer growth were given out during a pre-market meeting held in the company’s Merchandise Mart showroom. 

The President’s Award was given to Tommy Durden, who represents Castelle in the Midwestern U.S. region including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. Durden, who began working with Pride in 2002, exhibited overall excellence in customer service, superior product knowledge and territory and customer sales growth of the company’s Castelle product brand.

The Rep of the Year Award for the Castelle brand was given to Scott Stachowiski. In his second year with the manufacturer, Stachowiski represents the Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio territory. His accomplishments with regard to sales of the Castelle brand are reflective of his attention to product education and customer service.

Michael Urkowitz, Castelle’s Territory Manager representing Pennsylvania, S. New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. was recognized as the Representative of the Year for the Elements by Castelle outdoor furnishings brand. As a member of the Castelle sales team since 2002, Urkowitz saw the highest percentage increase in new customer development within his territory for Elements by Castelle. Urkowitz recognized the diversity of designs as a factor in the reception of the Elements furnishings in his territory.

Dough Becht was recognized with the 2018 Designer Sales Award. Representing the Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin territory, Becht’s award comes as he completes his ninth year with the luxury casual furniture manufacturer.

The awards were presented by Mark Stephens, President, Castelle and Senior Vice President of Sales, Rory Rehmert on the afternoon prior to the opening of the Casual Market Chicago. “As Castelle experienced another year of expansion and growth, we are proud to recognize those that make it possible,” said Rehmert. “Within our team of professionals is a wealth of product expertise, overall market knowledge and a focus on growth that has contributed to the successes we recognize.”
