Castelle Selects Social Media Contest Winner

Cassandra Lewis won the “See, Sit, Select & Snap” social engagement contest.

Castelle announced last week that Cassandra Lewis won its “See, Sit, Select & Snap” social engagement contest held during the fall 2017 High Point Market.

Lewis was awarded a prize valued at $5,000 in Castelle casual furniture as a result of her participation in the Castelle Quick Ship selfie station and social media posts.

Castelle created the multi-platform social media experience to introduce its 2018 Quick Ship Program. Castelle outdoor lounge chairs from each of the program collections were placed on display outside of Suites at Market Square in High Point with corresponding signage. The signage encouraged market attendees to take a closer look at the collection chairs, try them out, select a favorite, snap a selfie and post it to Instagram using the hashtag #castelleluxury.

“With the launch of the Quick Ship Program, Castelle wanted to create an opportunity during the busy market to engage with attendees in a non-traditional manner,” said Derek Ritzel, President and CEO of Castelle. “The selfies not only enriched our social media, but also provided valuable product preference information and overall exposure for the Quick Ship Program, which was the fundamental goal.”

Through the user-generated content contest, Castelle acquired nearly 700 new followers on its social media platforms.
