Villa by Classic Home launches Verdant pillow collection as a part of its spring 2020 introduction rollout. Inspired by English earthenware, Verdant features prints from hand-painted watercolors, vibrant florals, and dimensional textured solids.
“This playful collection focuses on the nostalgic artwork,” says Gabrielle Mickle, lead designer with the Classic Home textile division. “The floral and lush greenery is reminiscent of the artwork found on the English earthenware many of us had in the glass curio cabinets in our childhood homes.”
Verdant’s color palette is rich with the greens, yellows, reds, and blues that are found in lush cottage gardens filled with dandelions, roses, and thistle. The unique hand-painted watercolor artwork was created by the in-house design team.
“This collection is perfect for someone who enjoys the farmhouse look but is not afraid of color. Verdant is a great way to brighten up a breakfast nook or sunroom with playful prints and vibrant color,” says Mickle. The complete collection includes 20 pillows made with 100% cotton fabric, and like all Villa by Classic Home pillows, includes a luxury feather down insert and hidden zipper closure.
