Las Vegas Market announced that Creative Co-Op is more than doubling its showroom space and introducing a new “Creative Commons” lounge at the Winter 2019 Las Vegas Market, running January 27-31, 2019.

Garry Schermann, Creative Co-Op Senior Vice President, Sales, said, “Creative Co-Op has had a showroom in Las Vegas since the Market’s inception, and we have seen steady growth in attendance from the western United States as well as a global retail market that loves shopping at Las Vegas Market. We’re confident that this expanded showroom and connected event space will be a way to enhance our presentation and our profile in Las Vegas.”

The expansion, which when completed next winter, will create a new 28,000+-square-foot showroom for the Creative Co-Op, Bloomingville and ILLUME brands — more than double the size of the company’s existing showroom on Floor C7. The existing and new showroom spaces, located on both sides of an escalator bank, will be connected by a special “Creative Commons” area, which will serve as central location for buyer hospitality and special events including artist appearances, understanding the art of fragrance in consumer products and more.

“Creative Co-Op is an established industry leader and a long-time supporter of Las Vegas Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, President of Gift Leasing and Chief Marketing Officer, International Market Centers. “The company’s new and expanded multiyear showroom commitment is a central component of the remerchandising of floor C7 as a key destination for seasonal and gift products. We’re delighted to partner with them to bring their vision to life and to add even greater value to Las Vegas Market attendees.”

Las Vegas Market’s recently announced remerchandising of C7 supports the growth of existing anchor tenants like Creative Co-Op and K&K Interiors, as well as the renewals, expansions and relocations of other key category suppliers such as Adams & Co.; C & F Enterprises; Creative Co-Op, D B Imports, Ltd.; Designs Combined, Inc.; F.T. Renner Company; Galt International Company, Inc.; anchor tenant K&K Interiors; Oak Street Wholesale, Inc.; Option 2/Walpert/Silver Tree; Pacific Legend; Port to Port Import/Export; Special T Imports; SPI Home & Garden; Tayse Rugs; VIP International; and Wholesale Home Décor.

The C7 remerchandising also delivers a more cohesive seasonal and giftware presentation for gift and seasonal buyers. Since 2012, Las Vegas Market has experienced an overall 223 percent increase in gift buyer attendance and a 240 percent increase in seasonal buyer attendance. Las Vegas Market is the nation’s fastest growing gift and home decor market and the leading furniture marketplace in the western U.S., presenting 4,000+ gift, home decor and furniture resources in an unrivaled market destination.
