Two consumers and a St. Louis interior designer have been chosen as the winners of several giveaways sponsored by Fine Furniture Design to celebrate the October launch of the Quintessence collection, the company’s latest introduction inspired by the Biltmore Estate.

The grand prize winner was Julie Van Ameyde, a consumer from Northville, MI, who received a bar cart from the Biltmore by Fine Furniture Design collection. She was randomly chosen from among 459 entrants who “liked” and/or commented on the company’s social media posts that pictured the bar cart and contest details.

The giveaways also included two Biltmore-themed gift baskets with tickets to Biltmore, Biltmore wines, gourmet foods and more. Interior designer Amy McClure of St. Louis-based Design Detail was the on-site market winner. Her business card was drawn from entries submitted at Fine Furniture Design’s showroom during the October High Point Market. Consumer Anna McDearmond of Flushing, MI, also won a gift basket after being randomly selected from 121 contest entrants who engaged with the company’s social media posts about the contest.

“These contests were a terrific way to promote our new Biltmore collection and engage with consumers, designers and our dealers,” said Anna McGaha, Marketing Director for Fine Furniture Design. “We were thrilled with the number of entries and were especially pleased with the social media interaction generated by the collection.”

Quintessence is a modern interpretation of George Vanderbilt’s vision for the historic estate, honoring what has always defined Biltmore while setting the stage for a new era of consumers. The 45-piece collection features bedroom, dining room, upholstery and accent furniture that blend a variety of vintage and contemporary elements seamlessly together to create an eclectic collection with two distinctive looks: a casual style, reflecting the relaxed comfort of the gardens surrounding the home and a more classic style, inspired by the traditional architecture and original furniture found throughout the estate.
