In celebration of the October 2018 High Point Market launch of the Quintessence Collection, inspired by George and Edith Vanderbilt’s grand estate in Asheville, NC, Fine Furniture Design will host a launch party at its showroom located at 305 South Hamilton Street on Oct. 12 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. The first 25 guests in attendance will receive two daytime admission tickets to visit Biltmore.

Additional promotions are planned throughout the evening, including an on-site raffle and social media contest for two Biltmore-themed gift baskets which include tickets to Biltmore, fine Biltmore wines, gourmet foods and more. One will be given at market, and the other winner will be awarded via social media. In addition to the gift baskets, the company will also be giving away a signature Biltmore by Fine Furniture Design item via social media. Retailers and consumers who engage with the contest posts throughout market week on Fine Furniture Design’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media platforms will be entered to win. The hashtag for the social media promotion is #FFDesign.

“The Vanderbilts were known for their gracious hospitality and undeniable attention to detail,” said Anna McGaha, Marketing Director of Fine Furniture Design. “This launch event will allow us to extend our hospitality to our partners in the industry, as we celebrate the third collection of our growing Biltmore product line.

“Our giveaway of Biltmore tickets is the perfect way for our customers to truly immerse themselves in the total Biltmore experience,” she continued. “Visiting the estate will allow them the opportunity to see for themselves the gardens, architecture and original furniture found throughout the estate that inspired our new Quintessence collection.”

Quintessence, a modern interpretation of George Vanderbilt’s vision for the historic and legendary estate, honors what has always defined Biltmore yet sets the stage for a new era of consumers. The 45-piece collection features bedroom, dining room, upholstery and accent furniture that blend a variety of vintage and contemporary elements seamlessly together to create an eclectic collection with two distinctive looks: a casual style, reflecting the relaxed comfort of the gardens surrounding the home and a more classic style, inspired by the traditional architecture and original furniture found throughout the estate.
