In today's economy, retailers are discovering e-commerce is their showroom's new front door. Today's Home Furnishings Association (HFA) live COVID-19 webinar features a pair of furniture retailers who are proving how profitable a transaction website can be in these times.

HFA members Kenny Larson of Slumberland and Jimmy Elenz of Sheely's Furniture & Appliance will talk about how important — and profitable — their e-commerce sites are to their overall business. The webinar, scheduled for Thursday, May 21 at 3 p.m. EDT, (noon PDT), is part of the HFA's ongoing webinar series dedicated to helping retailers during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Retailers interested in attending the webinar can register here.

HFA Executive Vice President Mark Schumacher, who will host the webinar, said his guests will sharing important information with furniture retailers about how to boost sales and revenue.

"With social distancing and folks spending so much time at home the customer journey has changed probably forever," says Schumacher. "Our guests are finding ways to leverage their websites to meet customers where they are, online. They will share their successes and help everyone navigate this new retail world."

To help retailers enhance or implement an e-commerce strategy along with other aspects of their business, the HFA is offering the COVID-19 Partnership Resources web page where select vendors are offering their services to members along with exclusive savings.
