International Market Centers (IMC) expands its nearly 600 High Point Market furniture and home décor offerings with nine more showroom updates presenting fresh furniture, décor, fixed-wire lighting and textiles at the April 2-6, 2022 market. These additions bring the total to 21 new, expanded and relocated showrooms set to open in eight downtown High Point buildings.

“High Point Market is the premier opportunity for designers and retailers to source the unique furniture and décor items that bring great design to life,” said Scott Eckman, IMC executive vice president, chief revenue officer. “Expanded cross-category offerings this April make IMC’s High Point properties the top discovery destinations for buyers looking to take their projects and stores to the next level.”

Five new showrooms are Belle Meade (bedroom, dining room and occasional pieces finished in High Point) in 121 North Hamilton; Newton Coley (luxury upholstery made in North Carolina) in Market Square Tower; Schonbek (handcrafted fixed-wire lighting made in New York) at the Suites at Market Square (SAMS) and Zoy Home Furnishings (sofas and chairs) in Plaza Suites. Three expansions are Kuka North America (upholstered home furnishings) adding a second location in Furniture Plaza; Regal Fabrics (furniture fabrics in original, copyright-protected patterns) in Market Square Tower; and Spectra Home (fabric and leather seating) in 200 North Hamilton. Additionally, DiGiò Leather Sofas (sofas made in Italy) relocates to a larger showroom in Furniture Plaza from IHFC.

Brands also are using High Point Market to launch new divisions including TOV (modern furniture) launching The Voices Collection featuring 20+ SKUs designed by Black designers.

These updates augment 13 previously announced showroom additions, expansions and relocations in IHFC and InterHall. Four new showrooms are Accent Décor, Flair Enterprises, Global Home USA and Kalco Lighting; six expansions are Bellini Modern Living, Frank Thomas Art, Magnussen Home, Modway Furniture, MotoSleep and Rugs America; and three relocations are Bougainvillea, Celadon Art and Lite Source.

Beyond permanent showrooms, IMC also presents the largest selection of temporary exhibits at High Point Market. InterHall offers nearly 50 resources on the first floor of IHFC and SAMS offers 220+ temporary exhibitors on three floors and Plaza Suites offers 15+ furniture exhibitors on one floor.
