Hubbardton Forge has named Ray Langton CEO, replacing Bob Dillon who remains a shareholder in the business.

“Bob has navigated one of the most challenging periods in our country’s financial history since coming on-board in 2009, and Hubbardton Forge has grown substantially under his direction,” according to Rufus Clark, Managing Partner at Bunker Hill Capital. “Ray Langton has a deep expertise in manufacturing and corporate leadership and we are confident that he will help the talented team at Hubbardton Forge as they focus on reaching the next level.”

“I look forward to working with the Hubbardton Forge team and to continuing their tradition of quality, service and innovation,” says Langton.

Hubbardton Forge, whose approximately 240 designers, makers, engineers, and staff have been creating fine lighting in Vermont since 1974, has set its sights on future growth. With a strengthening economy and increasing high-end home builds and remodels, the future for this renowned American manufacturer is full of potential.

The company introduced two new brands, Vermont Modern and Synchronicity, in 2017 and is poised for growth. “This is a solid company with great products and a unique American success story in manufacturing,” says Clark. “We see a real opportunity, given the design direction that this team has taken, with the design community in both residential and commercial arenas.”
