International Market Centers (IMC) has announced that its Spring High Point Market Snapshot program will expand its weekly showcase of home furnishings product introductions to include nine special room-by-room designations, giving retailers and designers a broader overview of new offerings in each. The products and their respective rooms – bedroom, dining, family room, home office, living, outdoor, multi-purpose room, sleepover room and small space room – can be seen on the IMC High Point Market website and on social media in the nine weeks leading up to market, which runs June 5 – June 9, 2021.
“Market Snapshot provides an inside look at some of the best furniture and home décor products that our High Point Market exhibitors have to offer,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC’s chief customer and marketing officer. “We hope this year’s new room-by-room presentation provides buyers and designers with additional inspiration as they head into market.”
Each week, eight furniture and home décor products from permanent and temporary IMC exhibitors will be selected as finalists and showcased on social media, in buyer communications and through IMC’s High Point Market website. All finalists will be eligible for one of four “People’s Choice” awards – two furniture and two home décor– awarded based on popular voting. An expected 50+ Market Snapshot finalist products will be selected from all submitted for consideration. IMC exhibitors should email their photos to [email protected] and requirements include hi-resolution image files (jpeg, tiff, eps) of single product shots or styled lifestyle images with the showroom name and location, image credit information (line or showroom), social media tags or handles and product descriptions.
