IMC Names Chief Digital Officer

Mark Crowther has been hired as IMC's new Chief Digital Officer.

International Market Centers (IMC) today announced the hiring of a Chief Digital Officer, Mark Crowther, a seasoned digital executive with 25+ years of experience transforming how organizations interact with customers and growing a company’s value proposition through innovative technology solutions. He has experience across several verticals including technology, advertising, media, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and financial services.

“Mark’s expertise in digital innovation will help us iterate strategies to enhance the value of IMC’s offerings to drive more year-round value for our customers,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of IMC. “Mark’s addition to our executive team will help us transform our digital-physical strategy in ways that are fully integrated, collaborative and omnichannel.”

Crowther brings to IMC expertise in leveraging technology and innovation for growth.  He has been a founder/CEO and advisor to growth-stage and Fortune 500 companies on digital strategy and innovation.  He spent the last five years at Amazon, Inc. in leadership positions. Most recently, as Global Head of Business Development for Amazon Local Advertising, he delivered significant growth for the business. Crowther previously led Digital Innovation for Private Equity at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where his experience included partnering with private equity portfolio companies to build and scale new products, including designing a digital marketplace connecting buyers and sellers and automating merchant onboarding, among others.

Crowther holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and politics from the University of Bristol, a master’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Crowther will report to Bob Maricich, Chairman and CEO of IMC and will serve as a member of IMC’s Executive Leadership Team. IMC’s Digital Leadership Team, which includes Chief Technology Officer Max Fraser; Vice President of Product and Design Tripp Regan; Vice President Design & Content, Scott Mayer; Vice President of Customer Success Marisa Garcia; and Senior Vice President Alex Fraser, will report to Crowther.
