Yardzen, the leading, VC-backed online landscape design and build platform, today announced new design packages that include not just yard design, but also a full reimagining of the exterior of the home. A natural extension to the scope of traditional landscape design, Yardzen’s newly available design packages—which include both landscape design and elements like exterior paint, exterior doors and garage doors, windows, roofing, exterior lighting, house numbers, mailboxes, and more—are the brand’s next step in broadening its offering to homeowners.

Yardzen is the innovative online landscape design platform that uses technology—including satellite imagery, plant and data science, and the camera on modern mobile devices—to deliver a fundamentally better client experience, and ultimately, a better landscape design and build process. Without visiting a property, the company’s platform creates a fully custom landscape design, and now, exterior design. The two new Exterior Design packages are Curb Appeal, which includes a landscape design and exterior design for the front of the home, and Outdoor Transformation, which includes a landscape design and exterior design for the entire property.

Yardzen factors not only the homeowner’s aesthetic preferences, but the unique characteristics of their property, such as sun and shade patterns, slope, and the plants that should thrive in its soil. The company designs to any style and thoughtfully guides its clients through climate-conscious decisions to arrive at a design that brings both form and function to their outdoor space.

“We believe you can’t decouple the exterior of the home from the yard and see adding exterior design services as an evolution of the traditional landscape design process,” said Allison Messner, CEO and Co-Founder of Yardzen. “We’re thrilled to be working with world-class brands like Benjamin Moore, Marvin, and Williams Sonoma’s Rejuvenation to help our clients unlock the potential of their outdoor spaces through our digital design process.”

Yardzen’s Exterior Design service is launching in partnership with industry leaders: Benjamin Moore for exterior paint; Marvin for exterior doors, windows, and garage doors, and Rejuvenation, a portfolio brand of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., for outdoor lighting and hardware such as house numbers, and mailboxes. Several additional manufacturers, retailers, and brands are also on board, and the new design packages are available beginning today at yardzen.com.

“Benjamin Moore knows the power that paint has to transform a home’s exterior, and Yardzen’s ability to inspire homeowners with a photorealistic preview of their future home is an industry benchmark that we’re proud to be a part of,” said Meredith Kinsman, Vice President of Digital Marketing for Benjamin Moore. “We’re excited to collaborate with Yardzen on bringing premium, lasting color within reach for homeowners looking to reimagine their exterior spaces.”

“Marvin has seen a surge in demand for renovating home exteriors and upgrading patio and entry doors and windows to heighten curb appeal, reflect personal style, enable better connection to the outdoors, and drive enhanced energy efficiency,” says Christine Marvin, Vice President of Design Strategy at Marvin. “We’re thrilled to be working with Yardzen to help homeowners see a clear visual representation of the impact these upgrades will make to their home’s exterior as well as new life experiences that are possible with enhancements.”

“As a brand rooted in timeless, customizable designs for the entire home, partnering with Yardzen to help homeowners build distinctive outdoor spaces was a natural fit,” explains Tracey Wyres, Rejuvenation’s Director of Brand Marketing. “We can’t wait to see Rejuvenation’s outdoor assortment come to life through Yardzen’s designs.”
