1. This space is a sitting area off of a guest bedroom. The clients wanted to offer their guests a cozy living room area to relax in during their visits. Wallpapering the entire room livens up the space. Using warm-toned furnishings amped up the cozy vibe. “I wanted to create a space that felt inviting and said ‘Come sit a spell and read a book,’ and this room does just that.”
2. I am absolutely in love with this wallpaper! The color is perfect because it’s a blend of warm and cool tones. The pattern is stunning and unexpected. With sloped ceilings, I always suggest running wallpaper up onto the ceilings so that it envelops the room.
3. The seating pieces were actually already owned by the client, so we were able to reuse them. While she wasn’t sure if we would be able to use them in this space, the second I set my eyes on them I knew they would be perfect for this cozy room. We brought in a circular coffee table to create an inviting conversation area that also added a modern touch with the gold accent, complementing the more traditional style of the upholstery.
