Light + Building 2018 to Showcase 2,600 Plus Exhibitors

Light + Building, the world’s largest trade fair for lighting and building services technology, will be opening its doors in Frankfurt March 18 -23. Over 2,600 exhibitors will be there to present their new products in the field of lighting, electrical and electronic technology and home and building automation. 

“Connected – Secure – Convenient” is the motto of this show. The focus is on two key issues: "the 'smartification' of everyday life" and "aesthetics and wellbeing in harmony."  The industry will be showcasing intelligent, joined-up solutions, ground-breaking technologies and current design trends (check out our trend wrap up from Light + Building's last edition), which both increase the economic efficiency of buildings and enhance the comfort and convenience of life within the building, as well as meeting the need for the security of its users.

The world’s largest showcase for the lighting market

A central focus in the Lighting Product Group at Light + Building 2018 is the presentation of the latest design trends in the lighting market and the exhibitors’ high levels of expertise in the field of design. Altogether, some 1,650 companies will be exhibiting their entire spectrum of products and services in the lighting segment. Manufacturers will present their latest products for technical lighting and lamps in a wide variety of versions and for all applications. At the same time, a wide range of both technical and designer luminaires, as well as decorative lamps of all styles, will be exhibited, covering all price ranges and for both residential and non-residential environments.

Companies like Artemide, Bega, Brand van Egmont, Erco, Fagerhult Group, Faustig, Flos, iGuzzini, Ingo Maurer, LG, Louis Poulsen, Luceplan, Lumileds, Martinelli Luc, Nimbus, Nordeon Group, Occhio, Osram, Philips, Samsung, Schréder, Tobias Grau, Trilux, Vibia Lighting, Zero and Zumtobel will all be represented and indicate the comprehensive range of lighting that will be on display at Light + Building.
