Austin Durling has been named PR and Marketing Manager for Louis Poulsen, North America.

Louis Poulsen, Danish house of light, has announced the appointment of Austin Durling as its new PR and Marketing Manager for North America. Durling will work alongside Carly Conelli, CEO, North America, in the newly established Louis Poulsen head office in New York, an extension of the brand headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Durling is an experienced design and lifestyle manager with a background working across the art, home, and design industries. He previously supported the PR efforts for organizations including Kohler, Cosentino, TEFAF, Benjamin Moore, and Chihuly Studio. Durling most recently managed all aspects of PR strategy and activations for Dutch e-bike company, VanMoof.

With his extensive knowledge of the design landscape, Durling will support Louis Poulsen’s brand growth strategy through the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives in top priority markets: the United States and Canada.

Durling’s appointment is part of Louis Poulsen’s new structure for North America, which went into effect on January 1st, 2023, with a focus on building trade, retail, and direct to customer ecommerce relationships.
