Louis Poulsen, the Danish lighting brand, has partnered with Little Sun and YDesign Group to give back to communities in urgent need of clean energy and access to light. From Dec. 9-25, 2019, for every purchase of a Louis Poulsen light on YDesign Group’s e-commerce platforms – www.ylighting.com and www.lumens.com – a portable Little Sun solar lamp will be donated to a community in need of clean energy and accessible lighting in rural Africa.

Olafur Eliasson, the Danish-Icelandic artist and designer for the recent Louis Poulsen OE Quasi pendant, launched Little Sun in 2012 to design and deliver affordable clean energy solutions and inspire people to take climate action. Little Sun brings clean, reliable, affordable energy to the 1.1 billion people in the world living without electricity while raising awareness for energy access and climate action worldwide.

Each purchase of a Louis Poulsen lamp helps deliver solar light to students, health workers, refugees and remote communities living without access to electricity, making an impact on better education, safety and health. Visit www.ylighting.com or www.lumens.com to purchase and support communities in need.
