New and Returning Showplace Tenants to Debut New Products at High Point Market

Companies making their Showplace debut at October market include American Made Silk and Sono Inspired.

New and returning tenants will bring fresh new product to Showplace at High Point Market, running Oct. 13-17, 2018.

“Showplace is a key destination for many Top 100 retailers, designers and buyers,” said Julie Messner, Senior Vice President of furniture and home decor for International Market Centers. “With more than 80 exhibitors, the High Point Market-favorite includes five floors of permanent and temporary show space and offers a diverse selection of product offerings that cover all price points.”

Companies making their Showplace debut at October market include American Made Silk in SP 2317 and Sono Inspired in SP 3446. 

Sono Inspired is a wholesale manufacturing company that works with reclaimed wood and metal elements to create new and upcycled wine and bourbon barrel home accent pieces. The Sono Inspired line includes stave bottle openers, vino oak trays, barrel game boards, wine racks, chalkboards, cheese trays and wall art, among other products.

“We are excited and honored to be showing our wine and bourbon barrel home accessories at Showplace for October market,” said Kassy Reynolds, co-owner at Sono Inspired.

American Made Silks is a family-owned wholesale company and manufacturer of hand-crafted silk trees and floral arrangements.

“We are excited to be debuting in Showplace at High Point Market this fall,” said Mitch Plyler, owner at American Made Silks. “We have high-quality product and some of the best prices in the market. We look forward to all that market has to offer.”

Sono Inspired and American Made Silks join a list of notable anchor tenants that include: American Leather; The Bramble Company; Copeland Furniture; Euro Style; Four Hands; Furniture Classics; Rowe Fine Furniture, Inc.; Simon Li; Star International; Steven Shell; Sunpan Modern Home; Surya; Three Birds Casual; and TOV Furniture.

American Leather creates high-end, custom furniture in its factory in Dallas. At October market, American Leather will introduce a new line to its Style in Motion category. The line, called the ‘I” series, features an Italian mechanism and brings new fashion-forward, on-trend styles to the motion category. 

With more than 20 factories in five countries, Euro Style offers modern and contemporary furniture with a focus on quality and value. Euro Style will be will be introducing nearly 100 new products with a focus on dining collections.

Furniture Classics is a family-owned maker of solid wood, antique reproduction and transitional furniture. The Furniture Classics line includes furniture, dining room, living room, accents, occasional seating and outdoor and indoor casual. They will be introducing more than 80 products at fall market, with a focus on clean and sophisticated with smooth finishes in deep tones.

Surya is a go-to resource for fashion-forward home accessories. Included in the Surya line is bedding, decorative accents, furniture, lighting, pillows, throws and wall decor. They will be introducing hundreds of new products with a focus on catering to a wide range of styles that include: traditional, transitional, modern, bohemian and an eclectic mix, among others. Surya will also be launching Surya Spaces, a collaborative resource that features credited designer products and original content from Surya. 

Three Birds Casual offers products that allow consumers to bring indoor lifestyles to outdoor settings. From sectionals and sofas to dining tables and umbrellas, Three Birds Casual helps retailers and designers develop outdoor living showcases that translate into almost any backyard. A key introduction this market is the Chelsea Oval extension table.

Seminars, events and hospitality offerings in Showplace during October High Point Market include:

• Showplace Complimentary Breakfast: Saturday, Oct. 13 through Wednesday, Oct. 17 (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.) in the Showplace Atrium
• Complimentary Afternoon Bars: Saturday, Oct. 13 through Tuesday, Oct. 16 (4 to 6 p.m.) at 200 N. Hamilton St. (Alternating Floors); Market Square (Floors 1 and 2); and Showplace (Floors 1, 2 and 3)
• Sunset on 3: Saturday, Oct. 13 through Tuesday, Oct. 16 (5 to 7 p.m.) on the 3rd Floor Balcony, with complimentary beer, wine and passed hors d'oeuvres.
