As part of several year-long initiatives celebrating its 80th anniversary, leading custom upholstery specialist, Sam Moore has launched “80 Great Room Designs Featuring Sam Moore,” an exclusive contest for the interior design community. In honor of the milestone, the company is encouraging its interior design partners to share photographs of design projects that utilize Sam Moore products, along with comments about why the products were selected for each space.
Over the next several months, participants are encouraged to submit multiple projects. The top three submissions, as chosen by a panel of judges, will receive a $500 credit to their account to use towards their next Sam Moore purchase. In addition, submissions will be shared across Sam Moore’s social media channels as part of a new social media campaign designed to creatively chronicle the company’s 80-year history. Using the hashtag #80MooreYears, the campaign will reach thousands of users and highlight the company’s versatility across a variety of interiors through a visual tour of design projects from around the country.
“This year we are celebrating a tremendous milestone and we’re excited to see how our talented design community uses our products to create inspiring spaces for their clients,” said Sandi Teague, vice president of sales and merchandising for Sam Moore. “As a leader in fashion upholstery, the design channel is a key segment for us and continues to grow year after year. This initiative was developed to not only honor our 80-year history of producing stylish – yet affordable – seating solutions in a wide variety of styles, but to also show our support for the design community and the value they add to our industry and to consumers’ lives by creating inspiring spaces in their homes”
The contest began in mid-April and will run through July 15. One winner will be chosen each month during April, May and June. Images and details about the projects can be emailed to: [email protected] with the subject line “Sam Moore Contest.” Each submission will be judged based on design aesthetic, creativity, photo quality and rationale for selecting Sam Moore for the space. Submissions are unlimited and the company encourages designers to submit more than one project.
