In honor of its 80-year anniversary, leading custom upholstery specialist Sam Moore has launched its “Search for Vintage Sam Moore” social media contest. Using the hashtag #80MooreYears, the contest is part of a broader social media campaign that will highlight significant milestones and feature a variety of historical photos, including the vintage chairs.

The contest encourages consumers, employees, designers and retailers to submit images of vintage Sam Moore designs. The participant who submits the oldest image of a Sam Moore item will receive a brand-new chair, fully customized in the fabric and finish of their choice. All of the images that are collected throughout the contest will also be shared on Sam Moore’s social media platforms as part of the #80MooreYears campaign.

“What better way to honor our 80th anniversary than to celebrate with our retail and design partners, our consumers and our employees that continue to support our company year after year,” said Sandi Teague, vice president of sales and merchandising for Sam Moore. “We are very excited to see the vintage submissions that will demonstrate how our designs have evolved over the years. Social media is the perfect way to connect with our followers from across the country as well as those in our own backyard here in Bedford.”

The contest will run from April 21 to June 20 and a winner will be announced via the Sam Moore Facebook page. To enter, participants can simply send a direct message with their contact information, a photo of the vintage item and a label or other proof that it is a Sam Moore product. All entrants must be a follower of the Sam Moore Facebook page to be eligible to win. To follow, visit the Sam Moore Facebook page
