Sarah Jessica Parker will command the stage at AmericasMart LIVE, a new multimedia experience at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market in July. Her exclusive presentation titled “Sarah Jessica Parker: Pumps, Purses and Serious Profits—Building a Fashion Empire One Step at Time” is set for July 15.

Parker, famous for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City,” has worked as an actor, producer and fashion designer. Her footwear, apparel and accessory collection, SJP, launched in 2014 and recently expanded with the opening of her first brick-and-mortar store in the new MGM Resort in National Harbor. In the Q&A, she will talk about her journey from actor to lifestyle brand creator, the hardest lessons she’s learned in retail and her experience with entrepreneurship.

Parker is the latest high profile speaker announced for the AmericasMart LIVE programming, which aims to inform and educate retailers and designers about industry trends and innovations. As previously announced, celebrity interior designer Nate Berkus and digital media visionary Erik Qualman will also make appearances.

Each of these headliners will present to a live audience in the newly created Building 3 studio theater, the hub of the AmericasMart LIVE programming. Market-goers can also expect seminars and panel discussions from a range of thought leaders.

In between live broadcasts of seminars, experts like Brian Patrick Flynn, Carley Knobloch, Jenny Heinzen York and Patti Carpenter will present live show reports and interviews along with pre-recorded videos spotlighting products.

AmericasMart LIVE programming will be broadcast throughout the market campus and on social media channels. For more information, visit www.americasmart.com
