SUNPAN will increase its monetary donations to Daily Bread Food Bank for the month of April to support COVID-19 relief efforts.
According to Daily Bread, a third of food bank clients are children and it has seen a 53 percent increase in overall visits at its on-site food bank. It expects the trend will increase due to COVID-19 layoffs.
Daily Bread also explained its challenges of trying to feed families in need while facing unique pandemic-related challenges, such as significant decreases in donations, food bank closures and adjustments to safe distribution methods.
