Universal Furniture is debuting a new Motion program this spring at High Point furniture Market. Each frame in the six-style collection is designed to capture the look of stationery upholstery with the surprise function of motion, the ultimate in comfort without compromising style.

“We worked hard to create a new program that creates both an enjoyable experience for the consumer and a great value and easy-to-purchase process for the retailer,” said President Sean O’Connor.

The six styles—Mixon, Kelce, Tucker, Higgins, Nelson and Rhodes—come in a mixture of sofa, sectional and chair frames. Each style features exposed legs, a fully upholstered back, incliner mechanisms, detailed stitching, and are power-motioned with battery packs. The Leggett and Platt incliner mechanism allows each piece to recline away from the wall for space saving and for a more pleasing visual appearance.

Keeping comfort in mind, each style in Motion comes standard with spring down seating and articulating headrests. All covers are performance based, comprising six leather options and 6 fabric options, with special-orders available.
