Accent furniture makes lighting showrooms unique and stylish. Check out our favorite accent furniture.

Our most recent research found that 78 percent of lighting showrooms surveyed carry furniture in their stores. Fifty-five percent of lighting showroom survey takers said home furnishings sales made up 10 percent or less of their total business, while nearly 33 percent said home furnishings made up 11 to 25 percent of their business.

Accent furniture fits perfectly in lighting showrooms. The pieces can vary in size, which is ideal for small showrooms with little space to spare, and they help consumers visualize their lighting with furniture. Accent furniture is also great for business: Consumers love the vignettes and end up purchasing the whole look.

Ready to fill in your lighting showroom with accent furniture? Here are our favorites.

Arden Chest — Currey & Co.

Designers flock to the Paris Flea Market not just for great finds, but also for incredible inspiration. The Arden chest from Currey & Co. is a perfect example. Its design came from a 1970s reverse-painted glass antique found at the Paris Flea Market. The chest features Tornado reverse-painted glass panels on the top, front and sides with solid brass trim, hardware and cladded legs.

Abrosia Tufted Bench — Safavieh

We sometimes think of velvet as a fabric that belongs back in the 1980s along with shoulder pads, but the Ambrosia tufted bench from Safavieh adds a touch of Hollywood glam with its red color and acrylic legs. Ideal for living rooms, foyers and even bedrooms.

St. Barts Chair — ModShop

The St. Bart's Chair from ModShop adds a fun pop of color with high curved back and arms and biscuit tufting. The Palm Beach lucite legs give this chair a bit of extra detail. Measures just 38 inches in diameter — ideal for showrooms small on space, but big on style.

Salsa Pedestal Table — Fermob

Outdoor lighting stands out when paired with outdoor accent furniture. Fermob's Salsa pendestal table is available in 24 colors, including bright accent colors such as Poppy, Honey and Turquoise. Its small size ensures it won't detract from outdoor lanterns and sconces on display.
