ISFD has extended the deadline for the 2020 Pinnacle Awards

The International Society of Furniture Designers has extended the entry submission deadline for its annual Pinnacle Awards. Enter by August 9, 2020 to be considered for the 2020 Awards program. This year’s winners will be announced at the annual International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) Pinnacle Awards Celebration, Monday, October 19. More details to come. Tickets go on sale in September.

The Pinnacle Awards are intended to celebrate home furnishings designs that are produced mostly in larger numbers for sale to consumers. Submissions are open to all furniture designers, manufacturers and design students. The recipient of the highly coveted Pinnacle Award is the designer or designers who were directly involved in the "design craft" of the products(s).

ISFD is dedicated to excellence, innovation, education and originality in the practice of furniture design. The organization serves as the unified voice of the furniture design community, advocating professional practice and integrity at all times. ISFD seeks to demonstrate the value of design to the furnishings industry.

The awards include Major Collections, Green Leaf Award, Maker/Designer Award and a Student Award in addition to the following categories: Bedroom, Summer/Casual, Home Entertainment, Home Office, Accessories, Lighting, Leather Upholstery, Stationary Upholstery, Motion Upholstery, Casual Dining, Youth Furniture, Occasional Tables and Occasional Storage.

The Pinnacle Awards were created in April 1995 by the ISFD board of directors to promote design quality and encourage the recognition of furniture designers within the retail home furnishings industry. This year marks the award’s 24th anniversary and the fourth time you can enter online.
