NY NOW Announces Accent on Design Award Winners at Summer 2018 Market

Winners received honors for overall excellence, product innovation and best collection.

NY NOW, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, announced the winners of the Accent on Design Awards during the Summer 2018 Market.

This awards program recognizes product design excellence, innovation and creativity among NY NOW’s Accent on Design exhibitors, a juried collection of contemporary designers and their products currently on display through Wednesday, August 15, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

The summer 2018 Accent on Design Award winners are:

Overall Excellence: W&P (Booth #4040): A Brooklyn-based product design company with a mission to create products that inspire your daily interactions with food and drink in ways you never imagined possible.

Excellence in Booth Design: MT Masking Tape (Booth #4111): The original brand of design masking tape made of Japanese washi paper - excellent quality for an infinite number of possible uses. Their booth features a rainbow masking tape display suspended in the air featuring 1,260 rolls of tape.

Best New Product Innovation: SCOOP by LYFE (Booth #3725): LYFE® believes in one simple philosophy, a simplified lifestyle in metal. SCOOP is an ice cream scooper featuring a unique cast aluminum design and an ergonomic handle.

Best Product Collection: +d, presented by Eastern Accent (Booth #3820): Pleased to bring fine craftsmanship and artistry into the lives of all through the beauty and uniqueness of its interactive products.
