The husband and wife team behind interdisciplinary design firm, OPENUU, has launched their new Crescent Lighting collection in a variety of colors.
OPENUU's Crescent Lighting Collection is inspired by the crescent shape or lune which is created by two intersecting circles, also described as a crescent. As a child, seeing a crescent moon during the lunar month of August symbolized excitement, as one awaits the arrival of Mid-Autumn Festival, a day where kids get to play with lanterns and moongaze with family. The lines of the light feature juxtaposed elements with the glowing moon that reveal the crescent at its various phases, a play on the crescent being the glowing element.
